Every person should have the chance to start a family, no matter their sexuality, relationship status or gender identity.
Stonewall's LGBTQI+ Insight Survey found that 36% of respondents who had children experienced barriers or challenges when starting their family. One in five of those stated that the greatest barrier or challenge was the high cost of private fertility treatment.
LGBTQ+ people currently face significant barriers when it comes to accessing fertility treatment. It's the responsibility of employers to ensure that there is support in place for all paths to parenthood, including adoption, surrogacy, and shared parental leave. In this webinar, we'll be joined by Joseph Harwood (he, she, they), a diversity and inclusivity consultant, a digital media pioneer, and an award-winning beauty expert and make-up artist.
- What fertility and family-forming can look like for LGBTQ+ people
- How to build supportive policies that are accessible to LGBTQ+ people of all genders
- How to create an inclusive culture and why this has to start from the top
There will be plenty of time for Q&A, anonymous as always.
