On the 25th of April, Fertifa's Céline Crawford (Head of People and Operations) and Sophie Witts (Midwife), will be joined by Oliva's Chief Clinical Officer, Dr. Sarah Bateup, to discuss how to support your employees through baby loss and miscarriage.

Qualifying as a Midwife in 2016, Sophie has worked in some leading London hospitals and has significant experience supporting individuals and couples through pregnancy loss and baby loss. Named by BioBeat in the UK’s top 50 female leaders in healthcare business, Dr. Sarah is a highly-experienced practicing therapist, with strong experience supporting employees through mental health challenges of any kind.

Using their combined expertise leading HR teams, working in fertility, women's health, and mental health, Céline, Sophie and Dr Sarah will discuss:

  • The emotional and mental health impact of pregnancy loss
  • How to create a supportive workplace culture, where things like pregnancy loss are acknowledged and discussed
  • What to say (and what not to say) to a colleague who has experienced pregnancy loss
  • Why a pregnancy loss policy is crucial

There will be plenty of time for Q&A, as always.
